These rates are for day old birds in one 4 quadrant shipping box which holds up to:
140 keets/bantam chicks OR 100 large fowl layer type chicks OR 60 - 80 turkey poults/ broiler chicks OR 60 ducklings OR 20 goslings
Birds older than day old require more space so less will fit in the shipping box.
Airlines charge based on a weight/cubic space ratio. Due to this the rate will cover one box only of turkey and or broilers or goslings but up to two boxes of the lighter/smaller type chicks.
